Why Noorlingo Exists
In UAE classrooms, we saw a recurring challenge: capable children who could read or pronounce English words but did not always fully understand what they were reading.
Reading requires more than decoding. Learners also need vocabulary, background knowledge, context and strategies that help them connect ideas and construct meaning.
Noorlingo was created to help bridge that gap.

From a Classroom Need to Noorlingo
After more than a decade of teaching English and literacy in UAE classrooms, Tracey Susan Brauns repeatedly observed the same challenge: capable learners could often read English words accurately but still needed support to understand vocabulary, connect ideas and make meaning from text.
Noorlingo grew from that classroom need. It was created to provide the kind of reading support she wanted her own students to have: structured, culturally meaningful and focused on genuine understanding.
